CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP
Christian Leader
Leadership- "The capacity to lead"

I Corinthians 11:1 "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ."

Being a good Christian Leader means being a follower of the Good Shepherd. Christ is the epitome of great Christian Leadership. He stayed connected with His Father in heaven, showed His followers that they mattered and that He cared for them and did not lord His power over them in forceful ways. In my leadership I endeavor to follow Christ and then invite those in my care to follow Him with me. I endeavor to express care and empathy as well as prudence and responsibility.
In order to follow Christ I must stay connected and engaged with Him. Devotion time with God, self-care, continuing education, and the Holy Spirit's leading is what helps me be a good Christian leader. Scripture reading, meditation, prayer, music, journaling, being in nature and reading devotionals are how I stay connected to God. Pulling away for rest, exercise, and recreation is how I practice self-care to refuel in order to be available to others.
